By-Law Amendments

The Election Committee has released the results of the vote to amend the Association By-Laws. Ballots were issued to 2100 electors (1846 ongoing members and 254 sessionals) using Simply Voting on May 3, 2023, and voting closed on May 23, 2023. A total of 381 ballots were received and counted representing a response rate of 18.1 percent.

A total of 370 voted yes while 10 voted no and 1 abstained.

The proposed amendments have been ratified by the membership and will come into effect on July 1, 2023.
