University of Calgary Staff Wellness has partnered with TELUS Health to manage the “Sick Leave Program” effective May 1, 2023. While Staff Wellness can contract this service out to TELUS Health, it must continue to follow the procedures agreed to with the Association. We are aware of some concerns with this new provider. We will continue to watch this closely and raise concerns with Staff Wellness and Academic Labour Relations if needed.
