Sessional Travel Fund

Each academic year, a Sessional Travel Fund Committee distributes a Sessional Travel Fund of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) amongst eligible Sessional appointees to reimburse certain travel expenses to a maximum of $1,500 per sessional appointee as agreed in Schedule B of the Collective Agreement. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, there were fewer applicants in 2020-2021 which resulted in unused funds. The Governors and the Faculty Association have agreed to carry forward the 2020-2021 funds into 2021-2022. The carry-over funds will allow more sessional members to take advantage of this program in the upcoming year.

The next call for applications will be in Fall 2021 and more information will be shared about the fund at that time. If you have any questions, please contact the Association office.
